The delegate of Belgium creates an alliance with a traitor. Betrayer is found in the inside of ESTMUN system. This alliance is creating secret plans to overthrow every innocent worker and take over ECOSOC.
NO ONE IS SAFE!
During the second session of the day in the ECOSOC meeting room, the delegates of the various participating countries proposed suggestions to help out least developed countries and incorporate green energy into their everyday life. While there were some disagreements among the delegates, everything was going smoothly except one seemingly insignificant comment was thrown out by the delegate of Belgium. According to the delegate, other countries should follow in their footsteps and invest in sustainable energy projects. Was that meant to imply that Belgium is the superior country out of them all?
All of that was just the calm before the storm.
“Be prepared for chaos” - the co-chair stated while entering the meeting room before the final session of the day.
The most suspicious thing, after all, was not the statement made by the co-chair, but the absence of Belgium’s representative at the start of the session. Why was the delegate running late? Was he conspiring plans with the co-chair?
All of the truth broke out when the delegate of Costa Rica, an alleged allie of Belgium, put up a resolution to overthrow the chair and replace it with the delegate of Belgium. While the other delegates looked bewildered, the majority of the attendees voted for and even though the official chair was conflicted, the motion passed.
Secret amused looks between the new chair, a former delegate of Belgium, and the co-chair were exchanged and this minor action confirmed the fact that they formed an alliance and that the co-chair had betrayed her colleague. However, not only the betrayal, but also the selection of the incorrect delegate makes the co-chair untrustworthy. “You can show your papers, so I can see better” was one of the unofficial unacceptable statements made by the new chair.
Nevertheless, during the interview the co-chair declared that the new chair did a horrible job, so she not only betrayed all of the goodwilled people, but her alliance too.
“I can’t answer that question” - was the response of the new chair when asked if he is planing on overtaking more positions. The answer was not negative which means that the delegate has definitely more plans up his sleeve to take over ESTMUN.
