For the moment, the situation between America and China is intense. Regarding the
recent article about this story, American representative was furious – he states that
the given facts by BuzzFeed are wrong. This could only mean that America is
extremely determined to win this case by defending itself.
They are playing the hot potato game
At the moment both delegates just play around passing around the pressure to each other. The answers are not clear, they navigate around the answers and find intelligent ways to go away from the question and change the topic, while blaming each other, for example:
China: “USA claims they have rights over the islands.”
America: “We don’t.”
China: “But they think they do.”
America is pathetic?
During the press conference a BuzzFeed journalist raised a question to the American
representative, since he was denying the clearly given facts in an article. Turns out
that the representative has no clue what architecture is. On op of that, when he was
asked to use the imperial system to convert some numbers, he couldn’t give anyone
the needed answer. What’s next, Rome is the capital of Germany?
China’s reaction to this was clear and loud – “The imperial system builds 12 lane freeways in villages, and the metric system built the Notre Dame.”
They are being friendly, BUT…
Both representatives were found by a BuzzFeed journalist, outside of the session. China and America seem extremely friendly, but that all changes extremely fast.When the representative of China was asked to speak about “The Weapon”, he proudly said that it was measured in the
metric system and that it’s a lot of numbers. America, on the other hand, did the calculations with imperial system, giving the answer that there’s not so many inches.
Of course, American representative would know how this works, if the imperial system was understandable for him. On top of that, China’s representative is furious towards America. China is fighting for the truth and gives out several aggressive statements about America that could lead to further fights.
“Imperial system is only there to count the obesity number of America”
“Big Fords are made for obese people only”
“China is creating TikTok to poison American youth”
We will let that information sink in and keep our eyes peeled for any other move
that could be done by the representatives, as for now they are extremely stubborn
towards each other.
